Divide the class in groups of four. Each member is going on a differente kind of adventure Holiday. Give a set of Holiday cards (7). They have to hide them from the rest of the group. Students take turn to speak. they can address any other member of the group and request a particular item that they need. they always have seven cards. Students change items until each person in the group has a set of them that they think will be useful for their holiday. Finally, each person in turn names their seven items, and the orther group members try to guess what sort of holiday it is.
Name the country:
Divide students into groups of four. Give one student in each group a copy of the crossword (copy of the A clues, copy of the B clues, copy of the C clues). The student with the crossword asks the other members of the group and they read their clues. When all groups have finished, check the answers, paying particular attention to pronunciation.
While we were watching this video, we had to fill the Rucksack Chart file with seven things we need on an island. Later we change this photocopy with other group and we had to discuss about the seven things we have and if they are useful to live there.
You have to draw all you want in this map. You have to use the Rucksack file to use the seven things. Of course, the map is from the other group.
Hotel problems: One student is a recepcionist, another can't speak but has to communicate the problem he has got. He does mime. The role player has to act a card. The recepcionist has to guess what it is happening. Later, they change roles.
